Beautifully finished in smooth light alloy with a crisp spring-steel wiregate action, these tiny carabiners are only 1.6 inches long (4cm) and weigh under a tenth of an ounce (2.8 grams).
Strong for their size, we've tested three to destruction in a lab - one failed at 160 kilos; the other two failed a bit sooner, but only after distortion forced the wire gates open as the metal stretched.

Not recommended for training falcons with kites, because, when the line is taut, they can unclip themselves - if the lure line slips to the small end and they're given just the right twist at just the right angle.
